Project description:
For the Logitech marketing materials I was responsible for making product renders of their new (at the time) hardware line up. They've used these renders mainly for outdoor advertisement and for their guides. Had to use their patents to model some of the hardware. For others Logitech managed to provide CAD models.

At first I've attempted to render it within Cinema 4D using Resdhift. While the results were great and the workflow was very familiar to me, the render time was not very good. I had to render each one at 8k without any denoisers.
At first, render time was ~6hrs on an in-house render-farm. After couple of rounds of iteration, I've decided to spend time optimizing the render and scene and managed to bring it down to ~1.5hrs.

For the last scene, I've decided to change approach and started to use Keyshot. Which immediately made my life so much easier. It's meant for product rendering. It was so much faster and easier to go through iterations and get the feel of materials just right!
Also all the solo-objects were rendered using Keyshot.
